Lei Zhao
Mr. Zhao has 15 years of experience in large-scale data center O&M management, with expertise in ensuring secure and stable data center operations, cost control, and green, low-carbon, and energy-saving technologies. He serves as the Senior Director of National Data Center O&M Management and Network Department at BODADATA, responsible for managing the operations of national data centers, ensuring the security, stability, and efficient operation of data center infrastructure and network. He is also responsible for planning the operational direction of data centers, cost control, and external liaison work and participates in the full life-cycle operations of data center from delivery, concealment, optimization, operation, and transformation.
Mr. Zhao previously served as the General Manager of the Data Center O&M Management Department at Dr. Peng Group, managing nearly 15 data centers across the country. He ensured data centers’ security, stability, efficiency, and energy-saving operations, and he utilized years of management experience to control operating costs through daily management and information technologies. He assisted the sales department in participating in the negotiation of major projects, technical proposal response, and operating cost estimation, and he participated in customer bidding and data center O&M management for leading internet and financial enterprises, winning high recognition from customers. In addition, Mr. Zhao has good relationships with local governments and a deep understanding of local policies to ensure the stable operation of data centers.
Mr. Zhao holds a bachelor's degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Beijing Union University, Uptime Institute AOS certification, and the membership of the CDCC data center expert group. Under his leadership, the O&M Management team has won numerous awards including the "Alibaba Special Guarantee Award" and the "Everbright Bank Annual Operations Service Excellent Supplier Award".
